Karen's business experience also began in real estate working for the Trammel Crow Company managing apartment communities. She worked in real estate until their move to Columbus where she accepted a position with The Ohio State University.
Karen worked in various positions there which trained her to run the financials for Gorman and Sons when they opened their own business. She performs weekly check runs which allow her to pay the subcontractors on a timely basis. Karen also assists Tom in spec home prints and design selections.
She is constantly studying trends, new products and styles to incorporate into their homes. Tom and Karen are also always looking at new ways to build green and have experience in geothermal heating and use energy efficient products in their homes. |
